Please ensure that you are familiar with the SwyxWare product before continuing as any interruption in service caused by configuring these trunks can not be deemed the responsibility of Netplan.

You will need to have the SwyxWare Administration tool installed and open on your machine and administrative access to the server.

The first action to take is to add a Trunk Group where the Trunk can be assigned.
  1. Connect to your Swyx Server and then right click on Trunk Groups and select 'Add Trunk Group...'

  2. You will be presented with a new dialogue window welcoming you to the 'Add Trunk Group Wizard' then click Next to continue.

  3. Enter the name you wish to use for your Trunk Group and a description

  4. Select the trunk group type, in this instance you should choose 'SIP' with "Customized SIP" as the profile. Click Next to continue

  7. Click Next to skip past the SIP URI entry stage

  8. Select the codecs you wish to use. If this trunk is to be used with CallClarity please select both codecs

  9. Define the number of simultaneous calls your trunk will support. This MUST NOT exceed your licensed number of Voice Channels.

  10. Check the Machine Name is correct and then click Finish.
Your trunk should now have been added to the group and should also register automatically.
